REVIEW: This meditation works well
I have read this book before in hard copy, but having it available on my kindle is useful because it is a book that gives me a strong reminder that we can all improve the state of our minds by meditating, and that meditating is easy and gives very good results in many aspects of our life. I like the fact the book is well researched and not based solely on opinion or subjective experience. The research takes on board the experiences of many meditators worldwide and these experiences have been be researched through modern medicine. I read another book by the same author and have tried this meditation style for many years.

REVIEW: An excellent and insightful book
An excellent and insightful book: a unique and instructive take on the effects of the modern world on the human psyche and a practical guide to establishing a little sanity in the eye of the storm. Powell writes about complex issues with a common sense clarity and simplicity and is as equally at home with cutting edge scientific enquiry as with ancient philosophical wisdom. The purpose of the book is to produce pragmatic results in stress relief in small manageable steps.

REVIEW: Get some peace once a day
This is a very interesting approach to quelling all the rubbish that goes on in the mind, when trying to meditate. Nigel explains how we get fooled by a myriad of thought processes that in the end amount to nothing useful. To create a peaceful place within yourself at least once a day is worth gold so do go ahead and read what he says, it's a different approach to an age old problem.
