SPACETIME

Book One of The Time Quest Chronicles

FICTION World weary innocent Richard Walton has no idea why someone from the future wants him dead - but he intends to find out. If only he could catch up with the elusive and beautiful Alex, as she seems to have all the answers. In the meantime he and his motley collection of friends are forced into a perplexing series of adventures across time and some epic settings; from the battlefields of the American Civil War to the shores of Ancient Egypt. As the friends tumble through time, it becomes clear there are rogue forces trying to disrupt the nature of existence itself, and menacing time traveller Jeremiah Serrano definitely has some sinister motives of his own. In the end it's going to take courage, love and heartbreak to discover the truth.

REVIEW

Absolutely loved this book. Beautifully written. The feeling of multiple dimensions and historical periods existing simultaneously, interweaving and overlapping was so convincing that when I had had a reading session, I would feel as if I was stepping through a 'portal' (the means of travelling in space and time in the book), to return to my everyday reality, which seemed to have taken on the appearance of a stage set! There is a mood of great depth, as well as benevolence running throughout the narrative, with some very appealing characters (always a help). Very readable, thoroughly enjoyable and also thought provoking.

REVIEW

Spacetime is a lot of fun and has surprising depth at the same time. There are plenty of interesting characters and mysteries that unfold in Patrick Sheridan's rich and detailed writing style which is a joy to read and savour. I really didn’t want it to end and I'm looking forward to the next book in the chronicles.

REVIEW

This is the best and indeed greatest present for any one whose mind and heart are evolved enough to quest for the reality, which can be much closer than we might be willing to accept because of our conventions. Bravo! to all who are ready for the Quest.

REVIEW

Excellent, well written interesting page-turner, with in depth rich historical descriptive passages covering a variety of time periods from actual past events to imaginative future ones. Characters are well drawn and evolve with the plot lines. A worthy read.
