Why is the human clock amiss?
Tenser than the other species on planet earth.
But none other species is tense.
What happened to the human clock?
In a thing called future it got locked.
Why is the thing called ‘future’ frantic?
Because it lost the key to return to the present.
Thoughts of future create noise in the head.
In a future that does not exist.
A mental trap,
Out of rhythm, out of context,
To speed hooked.
Speed tension brooks.
Future illusions and myths cook.
Myth is not reality.
How often have you heard it told
Turn the clock to the present and reality seek.
Else eat, drink, and be weary.
What if you can find the key to the present?
What if the Holy Mother holds the key?
Then yours is the earth,
And what’s more the clock ticks according
