The family were back in their favourite picnic place near the lake, just finishing lunch.

Soon after, Jamie was marching him down to the beach.

Teddy looked up at the clouds wisping through the sky.

A small, dark shape passed high up overhead catching his eye.

James rushed into the water while Teddy sat on the sand.

Looking up into the sky, he noticed a large bird.

Its head looked white.

Its large wings moved slowly through the air.

Up – and – down.

“It’s so high in the sky.

What could it see from up there?”

The bird flew off over the trees.

Maybe it had a nest nearby.
