It was a long time ago that we human beings started to look at the world around us from a new perpective, completely different from the one through which we used to watch nature when just collecting food. Little by little, the light of curiosity dawned in our minds. We started to wonder what caused natural events such as the rain, the seasons, the everlasting succession of days and nights, the phases of the moon, the floods and so on.

In a bread sense, we can say that the great journey of science began in this moment. We can imagine the awe experienced by the early investigators of truth when they perceived the existence of a deep, underlying organization in nature.
