Here follows a symbolic internal monologue, of my memories and reflections of this little life.

I invite you, the reader, to embark upon a roller-coaster ride, full of ups and downs, thrills and fun and literary content to make you laugh, cry, ponder and wonder. Read on as I reflect on my years of affliction, addiction, recovery and growth, as I scribe memories that often take on a dreamlike quality, blending reality with spirituality.

In these moments, I imagine my journey as an epic, unfolding in mystical lands between reality and spirituality or between material and the subliminal. This is my honest account, coming from no other place but from my heart. The pages reveal the plight of addiction, the consequences of addiction and the climb out it (from Baddiction to Maddiction to Gladdiction!).

The aim of this story is to inspire others, to show how one can overcome the depths of despair and blossom into a lotus flower, no matter how deep or filthy the surroundings.
