Man has never been so conscious of his power over the universe as he is today, and yet never so conscious of his impotence. Science has given him far reaching knowledge and titanic power. But his over emphasis on science in the past two hundred years at the cost of neglecting and often suppressing the needsand understandings of his mindhave brought him to the crossroads.

Today, man lacks the necessary light, wisdom and value systems that are so essential to preserve and sustain him as the master species if the Universe. The power of science has brought him to the brink of his own destruction. The Utopia of his dreams has eluded him. and his hopes of harnessing the powers of nature to his own powers has collapsed. Warning signals are chiming too often, reminding him of the dinosaurs that once flourished and then perished due to over indulgence from the face of the Earth.

The reason for this unfortunate situation is not far to seek. Man has moved away from the source of joy, wisdom and love which is within himself.
