CABELLA
It was the 23rd July, I think, around 3.30 pm and there was nobody in the square. I was going out when I saw a big white car arriving. It stopped and the driver came out and asked a girl who was walking in the square, "Where is Palazzo Doria?"
The girl explained the way to him and, when she was next to me, I asked her, "What did the man in the big white car ask?"
"They were looking for the Palazzo."
So I said they must have sold it!
Then later in the afternoon, I met my cousin, who was the nephew of the lady who owned the ground floor of the Palazzo. I asked him, "Do you know if a special car went to the Palazzo? Do you know why?"
He replied, "They sold the Palazzo to an Indian Princess!"
I was astonished and I said, "Well!"
So the story began.
