READ AN EXCERPT
AID INDIA
A Poet called Rûmî said, “Life is just like if a king sent someone to a country to realize a specific mission. This person goes there and realizes hundreds of things – but if she didn’t do what she was asked for, it is just like if she did absolutely nothing.”
For all women who understood their mission – earn their life, raise and educate their children, and make their family happy
For women who watched the road in front of them, and understood that the road would be long
For women who don’t try to minimize the difficulties, but try to overcome them
For women who always keep their door open, their hand at work, and their feet in constant movement
For women who personify the proverb: “behind each successful man, there is a woman”
For all women who are here today:
May they be a great example for all women in India and in the world
And may their example multiply
May they have in front of them many difficult days, so that they can end up their work. That way, the next generation will only find the meaning of injustice and ignorance in dictionaries, and never in a human being’s life
May this road be long, because its rhythm is the rhythm of change
And change, the real change, is always very long to accomplish.
